White Peak Planning are leading the Hayeswood project team in the preparation of an Outline Planning Application for the majority of the 114ha ‘Land East of Great Notley, South of Braintree’ Strategic Growth Location, as identified in Policy LPP 18 of the emerging Braintree Local Plan (2017–2033).

Acting as planning-phase Project Manager on behalf of four clients – Bloor Homes, Bellway Homes, Martin Grant Homes, and Miller Homes – we have successfully coordinated and communicated project requirements between multiple landowners as the proposals have developed.

In line with policy requirements, we have progressed a Masterplan Framework for the allocation, including a Design Code, working closely with Braintree District Council and Essex County Council under a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA). The Masterplan has undergone extensive design review by Design South East.

We are also coordinating the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), having briefed the technical team and prepared the Environmental Statement. Alongside this, we are producing a Sustainable Community Statement to accompany the outline application.

In addition to our other roles, White Peak Planning have been instructed to prepare and submit the planning application on behalf of the clients.
