The Park, Northern Moor

White Peak Planning were instructed by Watson Homes initially to request pre-application planning advice for demolition of the existing vacant public house (The Park) and the erection of a block of affordable apartments for use by Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG).

We prepared a Pre-application Statement and submitted the request to Manchester City Council (MCC) in June 2025. We then worked with MCC, Watson Homes and the architects TADW on revisions to the scheme in order to make it acceptable.

Alongside Watson Homes and the Project Team, we prepared a full planning application, reviewing plans and technical documents, and preparing the Application Form and Planning Statement. We submitted the application to MCC in November 2025 and managed the post-submission stage, addressing comments and submitting revised information where necessary.

Full planning permission was granted by MCC in February 2026, within 13 weeks of validation of the application.
