On behalf of Redrow Homes, we obtained full planning permission from Sefton Council for 89 homes, supported living accommodation and a new sports pavilion.
The site comprised two parcels of land to the east and west of West Lane, Formby. The eastern parcel was allocated in the Sefton Local Plan and the western parcel contained vacant buildings associated with the former Clarence High School.
We initially managed the pre-application process with Sefton Council and consultation with the public and local stakeholders such as Ward Members and Maghull Town Council.
Chris Garratt co-ordinated the planning application and attended Planning Committee. Full planning permission was granted in May 2025 and following this, we successfully varied the original permission in February 2026.
We are working with Redrow Homes to discharge planning conditions and the development is currently under construction.
