New Approval: Willowbrook Access

We are pleased to see the approval of our application, on behalf of Bloor Homes, for a new three-arm signalised junction located on Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham.

Throughout the application process, we engaged with Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) Highways to ensure the junction design met all requirements. We amended the design of the junction, following GCC Highways' comments relating to pedestrian and cycle crossings, traffic island arrangements and the positioning of traffic signal equipment.

This access application will form one of the main access points for a new proposed development, Willowbrook, which is currently in its public consultation phase.  The junction has been designed to integrate with the Junction 10 improvements scheme that has commenced its preliminary works.
