Willowbrook, Cheltenham
We are delighted to confirm we are acting as the Planning Agent, Project Manager and EIA Coordinator on behalf of Bloor Homes to deliver a new, sustainable neighbourhood that will become a distinctive northwestern gateway to Cheltenham.
Willowbrook Phase 1 will deliver a mixed-use development on land north of A4019 Tewkesbury Road, between the M5 Junction 10 and the west of Uckington. The site was removed from the Green Belt and designated as Safeguarded Land in the Joint Core Strategy (JCS).
The development will deliver up to 1,700 new homes, including affordable housing; a primary school; local centre; Transport Hub; new footpaths and cycleways; areas of green space, including sports provision; new wildlife habitats; and sustainable drainage features.
We requested pre-application planning advice from Tewkesbury Borough Council in 2025 and responded to feedback from Officers with amendments to the proposals.
A public consultation on the draft proposals ran to the 6th March 2026 and included a website containing details of the project. The website can be viewed here: https://willowbrooknwc.co.uk/
Following the pre-application consultation, we will review comments received and work closely with the client and project team to finalise the proposals ready for submission of an outline planning application to Tewkesbury Borough Council in Spring 2026.
