New Approval: North Totton Extension

We are delighted to announce that Bloor Homes’ North Totton Extension scheme has recently received a resolution to grant outline planning permission.

Since our appointment in summer 2024, we have acted as Project Manager and EIA Coordinator for the scheme, which will see the delivery of a 375 homes extension to Bloor Homes’ Forest View site in Totton in the New Forest.

The scheme, which continues the landscape-led approach that shaped the first phase of development, will deliver approximately 35% affordable housing in a mixture of social rent and shared ownership. Over 50% of the site will be retained as green space, comprising an extensive network of public open space, landscaping, wildlife habitats, and play facilities, alongside new cycle and footpath connections integrating the scheme with the Forest View site and providing links into the wider Totton area.

We are proud to have supported Bloor Homes in achieving this milestone and would like to thank the wider project team for their efforts throughout the application process. We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with the team and council as the scheme progresses towards a formal grant of permission.
