New Submission: Hayeswood

We are extremely pleased to announce the submission of an outline planning application for Hayeswood in Braintree, Essex.

Hayeswood forms the majority of a sustainable urban extension to the south of Braintree, allocated for the delivery of up to 1,750 new homes, alongside a new primary school, community building, sports facilities, and a mixed-use local centre.

On behalf of Bloor Homes, Bellway Homes, Martin Grant Homes and Miller Homes (the Hayeswood Consortium), White Peak Planning has led the project team in the preparation and submission of the outline planning application, acting as Project Manager, Planning Agent, and EIA Coordinator, managing the extensive programme of technical work required to support the proposals.

Since 2018, we have worked closely with Braintree District Council and Essex County Council progressing a comprehensive Masterplan Framework and Design Code for the allocation. We have also coordinated the Environmental Impact Assessment process and prepared the Environmental Statement and Sustainable Community Statement that accompany the application.

The submission of this application represents a significant milestone for the project and is the culmination of a collaborative effort between the Hayeswood Consortium, the wider consultant team, local authorities and stakeholders. We look forward to continuing to support the project as it progresses through the planning process.
