New Submission: Southleigh

On behalf of Bloor Homes, we are pleased to have submitted an outline planning application for a mixed-use development to deliver a new neighbourhood to the east of Denvilles, Havant, known as ‘Southleigh’.

The proposals for Southleigh seek to deliver approximately 1,800 new homes - including affordable housing -, a primary school, and a mixed-use local centre. More than 50% of the site comprises green space, including an extensive new Community Park as well as green corridors that provide safe, traffic-free routes for walking, cycling, and wheeling throughout the site.

Since being appointed in 2023, White Peak Planning has acted as Planning Agent, Project Manager, and EIA Coordinator. In these roles, we have led the coordination of the multidisciplinary technical team, overseen the preparation of the Environmental Statement, and managed the overall programme to ensure the timely submission of the OPA. We have also provided strategic planning advice throughout, engaging with stakeholders and Havant Borough Council (HBC) officers to help shape the proposals.

We look forward to continuing to work with Bloor Homes, the project team, and officers at HBC throughout the post-application stage, and to making a significant contribution towards Havant’s unmet housing need.
