Volunteering Day

The WPP Team spent another brilliant day volunteering with The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT) in Manchester, a charity doing incredible work to reduce food waste and support people who need it most.

TBBT collects surplus food from supermarkets, farms and manufacturers and turns it into affordable food packages for families who need extra support. It’s a simple idea that makes a huge difference and helps people access good-quality food while stopping perfectly good produce from going to waste.

We spent our time on site preparing and loading the trucks with food for them to distribute throughout the country.

It was a really rewarding experience and a great chance to work alongside the TBBT team and other volunteers during one of their busiest times. We’re proud to support the work they do and look forward to getting involved again soon.
