Marchwood, New Forest

We are pleased to be working on behalf of Bloor Homes and the Barker Mill Estate, providing planning, EIA and project management services for a new major residential development to the south of Bury Road, Marchwood, New Forest.

The site is a former quarry and is allocated within the New Forest District Local Plan 2016-2036 Part One: Planning Strategy for a minimum of 700 homes, with potential for an additional 300 homes to be delivered outside of the plan period in adjacent land currently in use as a solar farm.

We are acting as Project Manager, Planning Consultant and EIA Co-ordinator and have recently managed requests to New Forest District Council for pre-application planning advice and an EIA Scoping Opinion. We are now co-ordinating and preparing an outline planning application for up to 1,000 homes, land for a potential primary school, a local community focal point, open space, landscaping and new vehicle and pedestrian / cycle accesses.
