WPP Charitable Contributions
As a company, White Peak Planning are always looking for new ways to give back to our community, whether that be through volunteering, supporting local businesses, or through charitable contributions. Most recently, we have decided to donate our small business relief grant of £10,000 to a number of local charities across Greater Manchester.
Each of the charities have been chosen individually by members of the WPP team, some of which include Shelter, Manchester Mind, Mustard Tree, and The Hideaway. Like many others, these charities have been working incredibly hard to provide vital support to vulnerable groups throughout the coronavirus pandemic and we hope that these donations can help to make a difference to their work.
We have also donated to local sports and social organisations that have helped children and young people keep active and in contact throughout lockdown.
Speaking on the subject, Rob White said ‘having been fortunate to be able to continue to operate through the lockdown and benefited from a number of government initiatives to support businesses, we wanted to give something back to local charities who’s operations and funding have been hit hard at a time when more vulnerable members of the local community are relying on them the most and other support networks are not operating at pre-Covid levels.’
We are also continuing to support other charities that are close to our hearts such as Crisis, South Manchester Down Syndrome Support Group, and the Trussell Trust.
