New Submissions: Land North of Poverty Lane and South of School Lane, Maghull, Sefton

Updated: Jun 30

White Peak Planning, on behalf of Countryside Properties and Persimmon Homes, has submitted a hybrid planning application to Sefton Council for a site to the north of Poverty Lane, Maghull. We have also submitted an outline application on behalf of The East Maghull Consortium for adjacent land to the south of School Lane.

The two sites form the majority of the Land East of Maghull allocation in the Sefton Local Plan, which includes for a minimum of 1,400 homes, a 20ha business park and a local centre.

The Countryside/Persimmon application is for 830 new homes (in full) and an older persons housing scheme (in outline) and the East Maghull Consortium application is for up to 855 new homes, a local centre and an older persons housing scheme.

White Peak Planning acted as planning consultants for both applications and also co-ordinated a joint Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). We are now managing both applications through to determination.
